women's rights in china 2009

As we all know, new China had established for 60 years in 2009. During these years, many things were changed and developed. Now I want to take folk costume for an instance. To introduce them easily, I would like to divide them into two periods. One is the period before the innovation and the other is the period after the innovation.

Firstly, before the open and reform policy, clothes were simple and monotonous.

In the early years of new China, clothing was associated with revolution. At that time, western-style suit was regarded as the sentiment of capitalist class, therefore they disappeared for about 20 years. Chinese tunic suit and Lenin coat became the popular choice for people.

In 1950s, People honored physical labor. They held the view that simple was fashion. After three major transformations, clothing became more and more colorful. One-piece dress which was from Russia became the most popular clothes at that time. Its popularity in China benefited from a Russian leader. This leader pointed out that Chinese clothes did not match the image of developing socialist big country. What was more, this leader said that lady should wear colorful clothing to show the prosperity of a country. From then on, colorful clothing was popular with people.

During the period of Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, thought and culture were fettered by political situation. At that time, it was a dream to have a set of military uniform for every youth. The young liked to dress green military uniform.

Secondly, since the open and reform policy, clothes were full of various colors and styles.

1980 was in the third season of open and reform policy. With the development of society, clothing became colorful. At that time, people liked to wear bell-bottom trousers and bat-sleeved blouses. What is more, they liked to wear sun glass and have long hair. Although many people disliked these attires, the young still went in their own ways.

In 1990s, some families had achieved a modest level of prosperity in China. Therefore, the quality of living was higher and the views became multifaceted. At that time, people had paid more attention to the individuality. It was difficult to summarize this tidal current by simple words. And nowadays, people continue to this pursuit.

From these changes we can learn that the concepts are changing and the society is developing. The changes of clothing are based upon economy. Therefore, the change of clothing is a sign of the improvement of life quality.

I am Kong Ella. I live in Guangzhou. In Guangzhou, there are many scenic spots and shopping malls. People like to Beijing lu and Shangxiajiu Lu to buy clothing. They think that clothes are beautiful and full of different styles. What is more, you can buy any clothes in there, even advertise clothing and work uniforms.
